On 08/16/2025 at approximately 0155 hours, Sweeney and another subject got into a verbal altercation that turned physical. During the altercation, Sweeney stabbed the victim twice in the upper left and lower left abdomen. The victim sustained life threatening injuries, and despite life saving measures succumbed
to those injuries. Sweeney was positively identified by a bartender, who is also the victim's girlfriend, and another employee at the bar. Sweeney fled the scene in a work truck that was later located and recovered in Vacaville, CA. Sweeney has an extensive criminal history as he has served prison time. The weapon used in the crime is unknown and is still outstanding. Sweeney is considered ARMED & DANGEROUS therefore take extreme caution if coming into contact with him.
