USPS BURGLARY-GATEWAY PARK
On January 6, 2025, at approximately 2:00 a.m., a burglary occurred at the North Natomas Finance Station at 4401 Gateway Park Blvd, Ste. 130, Sacramento, CA 95834. An unknown amount of outgoing mail and parcels were stolen. The suspect fled on a bicycle and headed west towards a nearby bike path. The suspect was observed carrying a black trash bag and a yellow bag. The suspect had a medium to heavyset build and wore a black mask, a loose-fitting gray hoodie, black pants, and gray shoes.

USPS POST OFFICE BURGLARY
On November 30, 2024, at approximately 11:46 p.m., two suspects forced entry into the Colonial Post Office at 6024 44th St, Sacramento, CA 95824. The suspects removed postal equipment from the retail counter and fled.

On 12/20/2023, the Modesto Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at a residence. Officers arrived on the scene and located a female suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim succumbed to her injuries several days later. Homicide detectives subsequently identified MARCELINO ESQUEDA, date of birth 11/23/03, as the suspect, and a homicide warrant was issued. The U.S. Marshals Office is currently assisting in the arrest and capture of ESQUEDA and is seeking the public's help. MOST WANTED
On 10/28/2024 at approximately 2050 hours, the above pictured suspect entered the back door of Chondo's
Tacos. He then produced a handgun, pointed it at staff and demanded money from the register. As the
employee/victim struggled opening the cash register, the suspect struck the victim several times on the back of
the head with the grip portion of the handgun. The victim sustained a laceration on the back of her head as a
result. The suspect then took approximately $300 cash and fled the scene on foot towards Arden Way.
The suspect appeared to be a male Hispanic or White young adult (18-30 years old) wearing a black hooded
jacket/sweatshirt a red belt on blue jeans, white shoes, and blue latex gloves. Additionally, the suspect appeared
to be left handed and possibly has glasses based on the video surveillance footage.
Detectives are actively looking for additional evidence and seeking help in identifying the suspect.

This morning, Sheriff’s South Patrol Deputies responded to two United States Post Office locations that had been broken into overnight. One was on C Street in Isleton, and the other was on State Highway 160 in the town of Ryde, both in the South area of Sacramento County.

Employees at the Post Office in Isleton reported the back door had been broken into, and the suspect(s) made off with a laptop computer and mail. At the Ryde location, the front door had been pried open, and the suspect(s) made off with another laptop computer and mail, which was placed in individual PO boxes. Some of that mail included ballots, which were also placed in the PO boxes.

Sacramento County Sheriff’s Property Crimes Detectives have responded to the scene and are working with the United States Postal Inspector. At approximately 9 AM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, Officers from the Rancho Cordova Police Department and Deputies from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s responded to the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, a Hindu temple, to the report of graffiti and property damage. Officers and Deputies arrived on scene and observed graffiti on the temple’s marquee signage and paved driveway on the temple property, with hateful messaging directed at Hindus. They also discovered water pipes near the building had been intentionally cut and severely damaged.
Based on their investigation, the incident was classified as a hate crime.
Detectives from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Gang Suppression Unit, which investigates hate crimes in Sacramento County, responded to the scene and began their investigation. Allied State and Federal law enforcement agencies were also notified of the incident and will assist with the investigation.
Detectives learned the vandalism was committed overnight, and a video of the incident was posted online on social media. The investigation is in its early stages, and no suspect(s) have been identified.

The United States Postal Inspection Service is seeking information regarding a series of mail carrier robberies in Sacramento. The first robbery was on July 11, 2024, at approximately 11:20 a.m., at the community mailbox unit near 2638 Traction Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95815. The suspect fled by bike heading north on the Northern Sacramento Bike Trail. The second robbery was on July 31, 2024, at approximately 5:52 p.m., at the apartments at 2573 Rio Linda Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95815. The suspect fled by bike heading southwest on Rio Linda Blvd. Witnesses stated the suspect had a slender build, was between 5’11” and 6’1” tall, and was armed with a handgun carried in a shoulder bag strapped around his shoulder.
