On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 8:36 PM, Isaiah Molina, age 18, was shot and killed near the Starbucks at 1042 Florin Road.  A vehicle was observed on surveillance video fleeing the area following the shooting.

ATAL HIT AND RUN SPD CS 22-054
August 30, 2022

On August 29, 2022 around 8:05 PM, Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to the 3700 block of Broadway for a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The involved vehicle was reported to have fled after the collision. Upon arrival on scene, officers located the pedestrian, an adult female, with serious injuries. She was transported to an area hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

BURGLARY Sac Park Rangers CS 22-051
August 15, 2022

On Thursday, June 30, 2022, a vehicle burglary occurred at the Sunrise River Access on the American River.  Several items were taken from the victim’s vehicle, including a firearm (snub nose revolver) and a debit card.  The debit card was used at several locations, including a Home Depot.  The suspects were captured on surveillance video.  The suspects are believed to have possibly been driving a black BMW sedan. Rangers are attempting to identify the suspects.

August 10, 2022

  • On June 29, 2022, at 11:00 am, two unknown male suspects worked in concert, with one distracting an elderly female shopping in the Placerville TJ Maxx, while the second suspect stole the victim’s wallet from her purse that had been placed in a shopping cart.
  • Suspect then used the stolen credit cards at Wal-Mart and Target in Placerville, both in proximity, to buy gift cards.  The suspects' actions appeared to be well rehearsed and practiced.

  • Suspect #1:  male, possibly Filipino, short with short dark hair and chin hair. 
  • Suspect #2:  male, possibly Asian, stalky build, wearing eyeglasses. 
  • Suspects left in what appears to be a silver sedan.

A driver hit and killed 56-year-old Cynthia Wright, who was crossing Greenback Lane, near Walnut Avenue, on Saturday, Aug 6, 2022. just after 10 PM in Orangevale.

PLACER HOMICIDE OF ERICA WRIGHT CS 22-028
April 21, 2022

Placer County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a woman was found dead inside a home early Wednesday morning, April 20, 2022.

Deputies responded to a 911 call shortly after midnight at a home on Livoti Avenue in Roseville, the sheriff's office said.

When deputies entered the home, they found the body of 41-year-old as Erica Marie Wright.  The death has been ruled a homicide.

ARMED ROBBERY RCPD 22-29103 CS 22-009
February 22, 2022

On January 30, 2022, the victim was approached at the Lite Rail station at Mills Station Road at Folsom Blvd. by two suspects who demanded the victim’s phone, cash, and belt at gunpoint.
 
The suspects then ran westbound through Lite Rail station to Folsom Blvd.  A second victim chased the suspects until Suspect #1 pulled the handgun again, pointed it at the victim, and told him to stop following them.
 
Suspect #1 appears to be a Black male in his 20’s, 6’, average build, with a goatee.  He was wearing a grey hoodie with “Goons” written on the back and “Goon Squad” written in blue writing on the front, blue and white denim jeans, and white athletic shoes with blue strings.
 
Suspect #2 appears to be a White male, 16-20 years old, with brown hair and brown eyes.  He has a tattoo above the left eyebrow and a small AK-47 tattoo on his back shoulder area.

November 17, 2020

The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help to identify these four individuals. 
 
Between 10:00 PM October 28 and 8:15 AM October 29, the victim in Cameron Park had his truck burglarized and his wallet was stolen. At around 8:45 AM on October 29, three of the victim’s stolen credit cards were used at Walmart at 10655 Folsom Blvd in Rancho Cordova.   The suspects purchased a Hisense 40” TV, 4 AirPods Pro and an Apple Watch SE 40.
 
Suspects were seen arriving in a silver/gray Chevy Monte Carlo, possibly a 2006.

eBATTERY; ROBBERY NCU 3-6 SPD 20-308032 CS TIP 20-036
November 05, 2020

On October 17,2020,  at approximately 12:17 AM, the below pictured suspect (Suspect #1) completed a beer run at the Shell Gas Station on Folsom Boulevard. The clerk chased the suspect outside where he was met by Suspect #2 who sucker punched him.
 
While on the ground, Suspect #1 “curb stomped” the victim causing him to have a seizure. The victim lost consciousness and suffered numerous injuries.
 
Detectives are still going through video and attempting to identify the vehicle the suspects fled in.
