The California Highway Patrol South Sacramento Office is asking for the community`s help in identifying the person (s) responsible for a fatal hit and run that occurred on February 11, 2010.

02-11-10, 5:35 AM, a red pickup, unknown make was traveling northbound on Franklin Blvd. The pickup struck a 91 year old female pedestrian attempting to cross Franklin westbound at 46th Avenue. Although the pickup attempted to stop before the collision, it fled the scene after striking the victim. The pickup has not been located at this time. The red pickup should have moderate front end damage. The CHP Area Office is actively seeking witnesses to this crime.
