Unsolved Crimes
| 4/27/2010 - Crime Alert Tip #10-024, 211 Check Cashing Store, CHPD |  |
The Citrus Heights Police Department is asking for the community`s help in identifying the persons responsible for a robbery that occurred on 04-20-2010 at a Check Cashing Store in the 7700 block of Greenback Lane.
At about 10:45 AM, 2 clerks were robbed at gunpoint while working at a check cashing store. The armed assailants entered the store wearing masks, pointed handguns at the victims, and forced them to the floor. The suspects then took the cash from the till and the safe and fled the location. Both suspects escaped via a car which was being driven by a third suspect. The getaway vehicle is described as a green Ford Escort (style) car with a red right front fender and possibly a red hood. There is no description of the third suspect.
Suspect #1: One of the suspects began to take off his mask while exiting the location. He is described as a black male adult, approximately 6` tall, wearing a black sweater, white under shirt, dark pants, and white shoes.
Suspect #2: Described as a dark-skinned male approximately 5` 10" tall, wearing a black ball cap with a peace symbol on top and on the front. He wore a dark blue coat, dark pants, and black shoes.

| | 4/20/2010 - Crime Alert Tip #10-023, Robbery, SPD | On 04/10/2010, a robbery occurred in the alley behind Special Foods Market at 22nd Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Sacramento. The suspect and two others used their hands and feet to knock the autistic victim to the ground, causing serious injuries. The suspects stole cigarettes and the victim`s debit card and fled the scene. The identity of the suspects are unknown at this time.
One suspect is described as a male in his early to mid twenties, Tongan, with a heavy build and hair in a poly tail.

Series of bank robberies only Bank of the West branches.
This subject robbed:
Grass Valley branch of Bank of the West on 12-22-09 South Lake Tahoe branch of Bank of the West on 02-18-10 King’s Beach branch of Bank of the West on 03-08-10 Grass Valley branch of Bank of the West on 03-31-10
In each of the robberies the suspect wore a brown fedora, dark sunglasses, a light colored jacket, dark slacks, and a fake beard. In each robbery, he displayed a handgun and demanded money from the teller. When he obtained the money, he put it in a black eco-friendly shopping bag with straps and unidentified green writing on it. He is described as a male between 40-50 years old with gray or salt and pepper hair, standing between 5-09 and 6 feet tall, with a slim build.

SUMMARY: The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying the persons responsible for a robbery that occurred on 2/24/10 at the Tahoe Market, 5440 14th Avenue.
Suspects:
1- MB, 5’10, black hooded sweatshirt, dark/black shirt over his face, dark jeans, light-colored or white shoes
2- MB or MH, 5’7, gray or white hooded sweatshirt w/designs on back and sleeves, dark jeans w/light-colored design on back pockets, dark shirt over face, light-colored shoes.
ADDITIONAL INFO: Both were armed with hand guns and should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS

03-12-10, 2:00 PM, the unknown suspect entered the Chase Bank at 1331 Florin Road, and presented the teller with a demand note. The suspect fled the bank with cash.
Suspect is described as a male Black adult, 40-50 years old, 260-280 pounds, with a shaved head. He seen with a white T shirt, black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

| | 3/29/2010 - Crime Alert Tip # 10-017, 211 PC Bank Series, SPD | The Sacramento Police Department is looking for a the community`s help for information leading to the identity of the person responsible for three (3) bank roberies featured below in the attached photo;
03-16-2010 Wells Fargo Bank, 5600 block of Florin Road
03-18-2010 Chase Bank, 1300 block of Florin Road
03-19-2010 Wells Fargo Bank, 10 block of Park Center Drive
In all three incidents, the suspect entered the banks, approached the teller, and produced a demand note for cash. After obtaining cash, the suspect was seen fleeing the area. In at least two of the robberies, he was seen riding away on a mountain bike.
SUSPECT: is described as a male Black in his late 30`s to early 40`s, between 5`6" and 5`9", with a slim build. He may possibly be missing a front/ top tooth. In each robbery he is wearing sunglasses. His caps vary; one had a 49er logo, another a USA logo and another a "Kings" logo.

| | 3/29/2010 - Crime Alert Tip 10-016, 211 PC Freeport Cigarettes, SPD | The Sacramento Police Department is looking for the Community`s help for information leading to the identity of the person(s) repsonsible for a robbery featured in the attached photo.
At 4:36 PM on 01-11-10, two suspects entered the Freeport Cigarettes located at 5171 Freeport Blvd. After casing the business and waiting for customers to leave, one suspect (in photograph) exited the business and waited outside in a white, mid 80`s Buick or Pontiac Bonneville. The second suspect (identified and subsequently arrested) approached the front register, punched the clerk and demanded money. When the clerk fought back, the second suspect fled into the parking lot and was seen fleeing with the 1st suspect in the white car.
SUSPECT #2 - is a Black male, 20 to 30 years old, light complexion, short hair, and wearing a tan shirt with a design on the front.

| | 3/8/2010 - Crime Alert Tip # 10-015, SSD 211 ,Del Taco | The Sacramento Sheriff`s Department is looking for the community`s help for information leading to the identity of the person responsible for a robbery.
On 02-21-10, an unknown suspect entered the Del Taco at 9152 Keifer Blvd. He ordered some food and then asked for the manager. When the manager approached, the suspect produced a handgun from his waist or pocket and demanded money. The manager fled back behind the counter and the suspect fled without getting any money.
SUSPECT: Described as Black male adult in his 20`s, 5`-10" tall weighing about 180 pounds, wearing a black beanie cap and black back pack, white shirt, dark sunglasses, dark cell phone.

| | 3/2/2010 - Crime Alert Tip 10-012, Burglary, McDonalds, SPD | The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community`s help in identifying the person responsible for a crime that occurred on January 29, 2010.
On 01-29-10, at 11:25 AM an unknown suspect walked into a McDonald`s at 7901 College Town Drive and went to the front counter. The front office door was left ajar. After he was served and the employee left the area, the suspect entered the office. He rummaged through purses, drawers and attempted to open the safe. He left with cash and a credit card.
According to employee`s of the 7-11 and Mountain Mike`s Pizza next door the same suspect attempted to do the same thing at their businesses.
McDonald employees believe the suspect was seen in the area sitting in a Cadillac parked in front of an adjacent Chevron station asking for money from people passing by.
The suspect is described as a male Black in his early 30`s, 5` 10", 200 pounds, bald and wearing a black polo sttyle shirt with white horizontal stripes and blue jeans.

| | 2/23/2010 - Crime Alert Tip # 10-010, ID Theft, Fraud, CHPD | The Citrus Heights Police Department is asking for the community`s help in identifying the responsible for a crime that occurred on January 23, 2010.
01-23-10, an unknown suspect entered the Wal Mart at 7010 Auburn Blvd. and purchased Marlboro cigarettes worth $557 using a credit card belonging to the victim in Nevada County. After the purchase, he attempted to purchase another $273 worth of cigarettes, but the purchase did not go through. He then used another credit card number belonging to that same victim and purchased the second group of cigarettes.
Suspect is described as white make adult in his 30`s, large stature, heavy-set. He left the location in late model Nissan Altima, 4/d blue.

| | 2/15/2010 - Crime Alert Tip # 10-009, 211 armed Kwik Stop, SPD | The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community`s help in identifying the persons responsible for a robbery that occurred on November 29th, 2009.
On 11-29-09 at 7:33 PM, an armed robbery occurred at the Kwik Stoip Shop at 6230 Fruitridge Road. Two suspects armed with handguns entered the business and ordered the clerks, "Hands up" and forced the two clerks to the floor. The suspects took cash and cartons of cigarettes.
Suspect #1 - Light-skinned male, unknown race, wearing black hooded sweatshirt, white cloth/t-shirt over his face, dark golves, black and red shoes, armed with a silver hand gun.
Suspect #2 - Light-skinned male, unknown race, wearing black hooded sweatshirt, white cloth/t-shirt over his face, light-colored gloves, black and red shoes, armed with a black hand gun.

| | 2/9/2010 - Crime Alert Tip 10-007, Fraud (cashing bad checks) Citrus Heights PD | The Citrus Heights Police Department is looking for the community`s help for information leading to the identity of the person (see attached photo) who passed several bad checks in Citrus Heights and surrounding area.
On 11-20-09, the suspect entered the Big Lots Store in Citrus Heights and wrote fraudulent checks to make a purchase. Later that day the same suspect entered a Target Store in Natomas and wrote more fraudulent checks from the same forged account.
The suspect is described as: male White adult, early to mid 30`s, short brown hair, mustache and goatee, wearing a brown jacket, white or gray undershirt and blue pants.

12-02-09, Two females robbed a customer at the Taco Bell, corner of Fruitridge Road and Martin Luther King Blvd. The suspects fled in a brown 1989 Honda Accord 2/d sedan. Detectives are hoping someone will be able to identify the female in a purple top, see attached photo.
She is described as: female Black, heavy build, wearing a purple shirt

| | 2/9/2010 - Crime Alert Tip #10-005, Murder, Sac PD | The Sacramento Police Homicide Unit is looking for the Community`s help for information leading to the identity of the person (s) responsible for the unsolved murder of Joseph Bush, (see attached photo of the victim).
New evidence has spurred detectives to re-open this homicide case. On February 8th, 2006 Bush was found shot to death in parking lot near Mack Road and Valley Hi Drive. Bush had just returned to Sacramento from Illinois to re-unite with his family. Detectives have been unable to develop a motive for this murder although two males were seen running from the scene.

| | 2/2/2010 - Crime Alert Tip 10-004, Bank Robbery, SSD | The Sacramento Violent Crimes Task Force is looking for the community`s help for information leading to the identity of the person responsible for a bank robbery featured in the attached photo.
01-27-10, approx. 9:00 AM, an adult female walked into the Chase Bank at 4117 Elverta Road in Sacramento. She handed a threatening note to a teller which demanded money. The teller complied with the suspect`s demand. The suspect left the bank and fled through the parking lot.
Suspect is described as: Female White ( possibly Russian), 30 to 35 years old, 5`-8" to 5`-9" tall and weighing 140 pounds. She had brown hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a blond wig and reading glasses. She had a mole on her left cheek.
